MONUMENT
This 600-page book is a compilation of select user-submitted images and stories from the Stonewall Forever Living Monument. It includes the voices of everyday queer people, celebrities, activists, and allies from all over the world.
These books were designed to occupy a lot of physical and visual space, especially considering the digital monument— though accessible online— occupies no physical space.
Made in collaboration with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Center of New York City.
MONUMENT was gifted to project collaborators and elected officials so that they could feel the gravity of their impact when supporting LGBTQIA+ initiatives and legislation.
